Show off your 360 with different bands and faces

I have seen that. If you go into the Facer app under settings, uncheck and recheck the "Enable Weather Data" box, it will correct it. Not the best solution, but it works.

I will try this. Thanks for the info.

Clementine - I was on a weekend trip and I was shocked how well it did keep up with where I was at the time (it was a road trip) so it updated (I'd like to say) every major (ish) city I hit. Emporia, KS - El Dorado, KS - Wichita, KS - Oklahoma City, OK ... but then we got to the hotel in OKC and had dinner a drink and I look down and ...no weather - just code. Sigh. frustrating. But hopefully Moto releases the actual coding so we can get away from the workaround options and just get to the nitty and the gritty.

Good morning. Tomorrow Google will officially launch the Android Wear watch face collection. The following image was given to me from a reliable source. I'm not sure if this is just a mock-up (a bad ass mock-up) or an official watch face coming to the collection. Either way, it's worth sharing. Enjoy!

I thought that I had read that an update to Android Wear was going to begin rolling out tomorrow, version 5 to match lollipop. It's supposed to have some new features and bug fixes, I recon. Here's to hoping it's more than just a few watch faces.

Did anyone swap out their leather band for an official metal one from Motorola? I must say the metal band from Motorola was worth the $80. It's designed quite nicely.

Actually, part of the reason I tried to find aftermarket choices was due to my not liking the official metal bands. Wish they released the bracelet band that was first shown on the initial press releases.

Try out the app called Alien 3D for your watch face on your Moto 360's. They have different screen colors and the watch looks amazing. Don't think my picture does it justice at all.

I stumbled upon something rather interesting in the past few days that really expands the functionality and ease of use of my watch.

There's an app on the store called "Wearable Widgets" that is really cool. It will take almost any widget you have on your phone and sort of translate it into a usable version that you can see on your watch. For example, I've used HD Widgets for years. Well if you point Wearable Widgets to let's say the 2x2 HD Widgets widget, you can set it up just like you would on your phone. I did the weather widget that has current conditions and the conditions for the next two days. When you launch the app on your watch, you'll see the widget.

This is where it gets really cool though. Be sure to install Wearable Widgets first!

If you're using WatchMaker Pro (and you should be) you can create a button on your watch to launch your widget without having to either use Mini Launcher or fumble around in the menu.

You can do this with anything, but for the sake of simplicity pick a watch face you like. Go to Customize Watch. Do the + to add an element. Add a shape. Select circle. Scroll down to the bottom and select "Tap Action." Select "Watch: Select Application" and then "Widgets."

I've skipped over everything cosmetic here. Obviously put your button where you want it, make it whatever color you want etc.

Now, once you've applied that to your watch, when you click your button, you'll get your widget right away.

I've gone ballistic with this and I have a feeling I'm only getting started. You can add the Google Music widget and control music. I added a button that I linked to the Android Wear Flashlight so you can immediately click it on. Even using HD Widgets I added one that will turn the camera light on my phone on.

Now I see that there is also a Tasker function. <evil laugh>

World domination is next!

You know what face I want? Is the silver colored Motorola theme that pops up on your phone when you do a reboot. I want that as a watch face.
