I had a Hero with an extended battery, so I now have 3 batteries for my Evo. I also have a Seidio battery charger. I usually change out my battery every morning for a fresh one. What I have been doing is turning the phone on, then shutting it down, then changing the battery and rebooting. My question is, can I skip the shutting down and just pull the battery? It would save the 30 seconds or so of waiting for it to shut down. It isn't a huge deal, but I just wondered if there was any advantage to shutting it down first.
