Side Button Volume Controls

is there a way of locking the volume for ringtones, speaker etc as i have a habit of turning them down accidently by the way i hold the phone i guess?

It would certainly be handy, this is probably the single most annoying thing about the phone, I never know what the volume is ...

I am also having a problem with the volume being turned down by accident. No way to lock the volume?

Yeah, I used to do that but since putting a gel case on it has solved this issue as the button is more tucked away

Exactly and when you accidentally turn it down to zero, you find out later that you missed 3 calls.

Had the same problem myself.
Then I superclued the volume button.

Problem solved.
