Sideload apps without rooting similar to the Aria?

to download remove AT&T sim card and download from market over wifi (this method works for getting all non AT&T approved apps)

Does this work on the captivate? This was taken from the Aria forums.

Yes, that works. Another easier way is to use AppBrain's Fast Web Installer. It will automatically install it on your phone over the air.
