still no luck.... AND I managed to get a hold of a RUDE customer service rep who INSISTED that there was no such thing and that I should go to the market and buy it! Dang! Crazy!!!

I got one of those too! He kept trying to explain to me what rooting was, and how it would void my warranty. I kept referring him to statements made by AT&T explaining that this was an update THEY were offering. He was pleasant, but just didn't know.
