I was just realizing that a few of my most used apps are ones that I had to sideload:

Better Battery Stats
Flipboard
Rosetta Stone TOTALe
Swiftkey Beta 3

What are some of the best apps that you've had to sideload on your Galaxy Nexus?

I was able to get Car Home installed straight from the links and it seems to work fine without moving anything around and messing with permissions. Thanks for the tip! Now I just need a dock!

I sideloaded the new Jellybean Google Play apk. Not a big change but as far as app updates I think it DLs only the portion of the app that have changed and not the entire app file. So that can make things much quicker for updates.

It may have updated everyone on its own since I did this but I'm not sure. FWIW:
