Help signal bars?

good afternoon all just got my samsung turned on....did have an iPhone since they came out....and figured i wanna try them out and so far i love it....only thing is i don't see my carrier or my signal strength on the top of the status bar..... wifi and battery all work and are there....i have internet and all messages work just no icons.....thank you for the help...

yep can make call and receive calls everything seems to be working perfectly but just can't see anything on the screen....i have rooted the phone about 5 months ago and just messed with it on wifi and today i took the jump over to android....Cyanogenmod is what I'm using and on version 10.1
