Signal Booster apps?

I've been debating on downloading one of these since my mobile home has TERRIBLE reception (I think it's the aluminum siding but I could be wrong).

Has anyone has any real luck with a signal booster app?

If you are running a rom with a modified PRL, or build.prop to allow you to undo the Boost data transfer limits then try removing those modifications

conversely, if you are NOT running a modified PRL, ROM, or Build.Prop, download one from this site and see how it works for you

How is your signal outside of your home? If it is good you can build a very cheap antenna to carry signal inside... especially if you already have an antenna on your roof that runs into your home with coax cable (the kind that goes into the back of your cable box).

To build an antenna to increase signal in your home (only works if signal is good directly outside your home) you take an antenna with a coax cable connector and run the cable inside of your house then connect the cable to an antenna inside the house. Bunny ears work great for this. What it does is the antenna outside picks up the signal and transfers it into your house along the coax cable and then transmits it through the antenna inside your house.

If you already have an antenna on your home and it comes inside with a coax cable then most of the work is done for you. Just go to wally world and buy a pair of bunny ears and a female connecter and screw it onto the already installed coax.

If not buy two bunny ears and place one outside (where there is good signal and hopefully under an awning to protect from elements) and one inside and then run the cable from the outside one to the inside one.

This will only bring the existing signal from outside into your home, it will not amplify the signal from outside like one of those 300 dollar machines will.
