Some weeks ago I had the common problem where the phone won't switch off or the phone thinks it's charging when it's not. So I change the flexi usb board in the phone but when i was doing it I damaged the antenna. I bought a new antenna and fitted it last week there are absolutely no charging issues and the phone stays completely off. However, the signal now is absolutely terrible compared to before. I am lucky to get 6 hours battery because the signal is so bad. If i switch my phone in to flight mode the battery life is fantastic easily over 3-4 days. This is not useful though as it means I can't use my phone properly. I was wondering if there were any special precautions that needed to be taken before I fit my new antenna cable? Anything I should be careful about whilst fitting it? Just if anyone has any advice I would be very grateful.
