Help silent mode button??

Just downloaded update 2.3.5, was very disappointed to find out that I can no longer slide the menu bar down and change my phone from audible to vibrate. So now any time I have to do that I need to go to settings? Although the stupid flight mode is there now. Seriously, how often do you have to quickly change your phone to flight mode versus silent more?
Why make it so much more inconvenient?
Is there a way to change the settings for the slide down menu, or buttons, something, anything to be able to change the phone mode from audible to silent?

Silent mode is in the power menu now. Press and hold the power button and it will be an option to choose. There are toggle apps in the market as well, I haven't personally used them.

yeah, that annoyed me at first, but i am used to holding down the power button a second to access the power menu to go to silent now.

Even before I updated to gb I prefered to hold the power button and access silent mode that way..

I got pretty used to it. I flash roms a lot and almost all of them have 9 to 15 toggle pull Downs. I tend to use the power button more often than not though.
