Help Silent mode

i am having troubles with silent mode on the g2x. i put my ringer as high as i can but whenever i receive calls it vibrates once and then says silent mode. sometimes it doesnt ring OR vibrate and just says silent mode while the ringer is on. this is happening from 11-27-2011. please help!

Did you install any apps recently?

Try installing a ringtone app and try changing some settings in it (Zedge?)
