SIM and Google Contacts Showing..

Hi,

My Mum got a Wildfire the other day and I imported all of contacts from the SIM to Google Contacts.

I've selected the phone to show only "Google Contacts", however, when searching through the "People" application or searching for a contact while in "Messaging", I've noticed contacts appearing twice... Its showing duplicate entries..

I don't want to delete the contacts from the SIM in case she changes phone in the futures to one that doesn't import Google Contacts..

Is there any way around this??

HTC are seriously crap.. Im telling you.

Open contact tap menu then tap view. If you only want google contacts to show check google and uncheck the others; sim, phone etc. That should do the trick.

Just because you don't find the right settings doesn't make the phone a piece of crap.
