Help SIM card question

volley4me

Lurker
I pre-ordered the Note 3 and planned on swapping SIM cards to keep my unlimited. I looked on the VZ website and it looks like the Note uses a
"4G NFC SIM Card" and the Galaxy 3 uses a "4G Micro SIM"
Does anyone know if it would be compatible with one another or is there an adapter I need to use? Many thanks!

I had to change my SIM card - an "ordinary" size card for a microSim (smaller). I did this in preparation before I got the phone. Although people have some success with SIM cutters. In the interim I used an adapter to hold the new microSIM in the old phone.

I migrated the data on the card myself as I have a dual SIM phone about the place. But I could have got this done by my service provider.

There is a yet smaller standard - nanoSIM. You don't want that

Im not sure about VERIZON ...I have AT&T... I always try to keep the smallest sim card (nano sim)...Im always switching phones ....and well I use an adapter nano to micro like when I would go from my iphone to the Galaxy S4 ...but if ya do use adapters ya gotta get good ones ya cant get those cheap ones off amazon ...when ya stick them in they fall right out ....I usually get them german ones from the MICRO SIM SHOP....THEY SNAP INTO PLACE PRETTY GOOD....But that's at&T ....everything I just said could be completely different on VERIZON.....what does the note 3 take anyway? a micro sim? ....if the Galaxy S3 Takes a micro sim and the note 3 does ...im sure it'll work ...but im guessing again because im on AT&T ....GOOD LUCK THO
