Does anyone follow this forum anymore? I have found people with similar issues in the past but no effective resolution was offered that I can find.
I bought a Dinc2 on Ebay that I called Verizon to unlock and tested it with two SIM cards. It worked fine on each for voice & text and connected 2g data with no issues. 2g is plenty fast for navigation and it seemed to work fine on the road in Global mode until it switched networks at which point the phone would either crash or reboot itself. After a couple trips when I try to put it in Global mode now it gives me an error; "There is no SIM card on your device. Your device will switch to CDMA mode now."
I have tried factory resetting and several different SIM cards to no avail.
