Help SIM presence

Hello there,

Since three days back, I am confronted with a problem; my SIM card with Vodafone Italy keeps disappearing, I mean, several times a day, I get no service and no SIM present, out of the blue. Only thing that makes it work again is a phone restart.

I cannot reproduce this, it just happens, randomly during the day. I switched it with a Vodafone Romania SIM, and that one worked, didn't happen to have it disappear, so to speak.

This whole thing didn't happen before, just the last two, three days.

Any ideas, anyone?

Is it an older SIM? Does it look dirty/damaged at all?

I can't say I've noticed similar issues with mine.

Maybe contact your network for a replacement?

I've been using it since last March, this SIM. It looks a bit scratched, the usual way these thingies look after a while, but it didn't happen to have to change a SIM this soon, but maybe sometimes it happens.. I was wondering if it might be the operator's poor service sometimes, when I get these sudden drops?

I will keep checking this, if it's still happening I will pay a visit to a local Vodafone center.
