I have recently had to change a cracked screen on my desire and now although the screen works fine it wont reconise the sim card, can anyone help with where i have gone wrong!

thanks all now sorted, in case someone else has the same problem what we had done had slightly dislodged the sim card connector!
This is hidden under the silver tape stuck around the sim card and not usually touched during the break down
