simple change of venue

Ok,
So I just got this phone a couple of weeks ago and am finding my way around it and the forums and such.

I suppose I need a blood hound to point me in the right direction cause I am really stumbling in the dark so... Is there a way to change the color scheme (theme?) of the atrix 4g with out using an app? I just want to get rid of the grey blaah color.

If not is there a good free application I can use, (I mean free not vapor) to do that job?

I was given the phone and am on a (no i have no job) extreme limited budget.

My phone (All Atrix's?) came with a sizable number of themes (Wallpapers in the Menu section) and they are all free.
