Root simply stunning droid x keyboard problem

so, i deleted swype from my x and then i flashed a multitouch keyboard, now i keep getting multitouch keyboard not responding force close. i tried flashing swype but it did not work. i need a keyboard to flash or a solution to this problem asap!

delete the data/cache within the keyboard,

settings applications
manage applications
all

locate the multitouch keyboard, select it and clear data/cache whichever you can

What happens if you use the stock keyboard?

You also have to find an app that takes text and long press and choose "change input method" to activate a keyboard.
