Single App Task Killer?

Hello,

Looking for a widget with a single app task killer - one that can kill just ONE app.

I want to kill, for instance, BeyondPod because it overtakes control of the music player when it runs (it gives it back, but only after the podcast is done). So, I'd like a "BP Kill" button.

I don't want to kill any of the other processes, which is what other taskkiller widgets do. I guess the analogy is I need a scalpel and not a sword. :)

Thanks,

Tim

You don't need a task killer at all.. :)
Just go to Settings -> Applications -> Running Services, and stop the one you want.

Figured it out. I didn't want to have to go into any menus to kill this app - just wanted a quick button push. Thanks, though.

Using ES Task Killer, you can set specific apps to a Kill List. Then, the widget/button can be set to kill only those on the Kill List.

There is an app that lets you kill the current running app from the pull down notification. I can't remember what it is called though but it definitely exists.

Task panel x gives you the option to have it on the pull down notification panel, or you can have it as 2 types of widget, great app, with lots of options, and i've never had a problem with it.

Hope this helps

Pete ;)
