Help SIP problems in europe

I set up SIP on my phone from my local Hosted PBX phone service company I use from my office. I had them set me up with a separate extension just for my phone when I am on the go. It all worked pretty great on both the TBolts built in SIP function and on SIPdroid.. but now that I am in italy, it doesnt work at all. Neither on my X-lite laptop app. I just paid for Astrill VPN/proxy service in order to get a US IP.. but still no change. Anyone have any suggestion??
