Any news of a Sirius player being developed? I am able to log in on the website media player but it doesnt stream anything.
 
I haven't heard of one yet but I'm always looking.. As soon as a good one comes out, I'm there! I can't stream Sirius as work and would love to be able to listen to that again while working.
 
Yes, I like Pandora as well and listen to it regularly but I already pay for a Sirius subscription and I can't get Howard Stern streamed live at work. I'd REALLY like it if I could get it streamed live through my browser on the Droid however.

Pandora's not really relevant to this thread.
 
I've been searching for awhile now, looks like back in 08 someone was developing one, but ran into the 10 logins a day issue with Sirius, then a couple posts later he said all development was stopping. I'll take anything, even an official one from Sirius as long as its a little more robust than the iphone one they made.

If it comes from Sirius chances are that it will not include Howard 100 and 101 or any other channel anyone would want to listen to. :mad:

you can stream anything on a pc so I dont know why they would 'censor' what you can listen to on a phone. Especially since they charge extra for streaming now.
 
I use an app called Pocket Tunes on my iPod Touch to stream EVERYTHING. I am able to stream any local sports radio show from around the country, Sirius, XM, Police Scanners, there is even an all Dave Matthews AOL channel (nice FireDancer ;)). I E-Mailed Pocket Tunes asking if they would consider porting it over to Android and received this reply:

Hi Brian,

Thank you very much for your kind comments, glad you are enjoying Pocket Tunes.

Regarding Android, currently Pocket Tunes does not support the Android operating system. We are
always considering other operating systems but we have a company policy not to make public those
plans. So I can't say if we would have a version for Android, in the future, or not, sorry.

I don't know if that's good or bad. So for now I a using DroidLive to stream Howard 100 & 101. It is doing the job.
 
Any way to get Opie and anthony on my phone? I could not find them on droidlive like you recommended to find howard.
 
I can get you Howard 100 only! I posted this in the tips and tricks. Its best if you pm me and i can fill you in. I been listing to HW 100 for years online and now on my phone all day everyday.

The iPhone app does not include either Howard 100 or 101, they claim it is because of licensing issues.
 
i am not sure if this is 100 or 101 all i know is that i hear the show live at 8:00am here in Texas. I do have the link for west coast and east coast feed.

Anyone that pm'ed let me know if this is working for you.

Oh and you can stream it from a pc also. Been doing it for years.

Run a search for Opie and Anthony on Droid Live, I have seen them on their. As far as the iPhone users, check out Pocket Tunes. MUCH BETTER then the Sirius app for iPhone and it does have Howard 100 & 101.
