Root sirius xm app not working

ryangold

Lurker
Does anybody know how to make sirius xm app work with cm7.1? After I log in the hour glass just spins and says updating but it never pulls up the channels. Latest gapps installed, all other apps seem to work perfectly. Tried other forums but no one replies. Any help is appreciated.

used the above patch now i get black screen when i turn on my nook color. I saved the original framework jar to my sd card. Please help!

Read on cyanogen forum and xda that I needed a IMEI number for sirius app to work. Tried to fix now i get blank screen when i turn it on.

Always create a backup in recovery before doing stuff like this. You should be able to restore the original framework or worst case, reflash your rom.

That framework is for an 7.0.3, an older rom... Not going to work with 7.1 stable.

Ok. How do i restore orginal framework, if possible? I did no do a recovery backup b4 i srewed up. Do I go back into cwm and do wipd data/ factory rest and just instal cm7 or vice versa? Do i need to instal gapps again? Thanks

Think of it as a upgrade. For upgrades, all you wipe is cache and Dalvik cache.

I'd reflash cm7.1 stable. If it's been awhile since you installed, do gApps too.

Is this a sdcard install or is it on your NC (EMMC)?

Reflash 7.1 stable and if Market complains, you'll need to reinstall gapps.

Wipe cache and Dalvik cache before. Don't format data. I like to fix permissions after -- always a good precaution.

I think you'll be ok after that. :D
