site format bug

something is wrong with the site formatting... the site appears as shown on my phone(galaxy nexus running 4.4.2) using chrome browser, and iPad, using chrome and Safari...seems to stem from the new "currently hot" banner at the top.

Same issue with desktop version of Chrome (I'm on Arch)
