OK, I know the screen is 4 plus, but how wide is the x compared to a BB curve..

Second question.

Is there going to be a no contract price for this phone that anyone knows for sure. I called two corp. stores and got one no and one yes (around 570-575) and have had 1*611 rep tell me no, only 2 year contracts for now....

Motorola DROID X Size Compare (Phone Arena)

go to that for the size. ....as far as the no contract pricing i don't see why they wouldn't.

cool link that helped a lot Thanks

The CSR I just talked to said it would was crazy that there would not be a no contract price, and that the store may only be selling them to new or upgrade customers only, if they got in a limited supply less then what they thought they would.

So I called the store back and was told they got in only 20 for the release day...and had almost 40 appointments set up as they were told they would get in 50 at least.

Looks like I will be ordering online and forgetting the store

I am currently using a my old curve and I went into verizon this afternoon to play with a live DX that they had there. It is roughly the same size as the curves width. Definitely thinner and taller though.

I couldn't feel a big difference in weight either. Definitely a LOT faster though!

Hope this helps!

From what I've heard, you can get the X without a contract for $569.99.
