Size difference between LTE and GSM version

Has anyone else noticed that the LTE version is noticeably more rounded on the sides? I know it's due to the LTE radio and I could care less at this point (Verizon just sell me the phone already!) but I was surprised at just how much smoother and puffier it looks. Also, the battery cover looks like simulated brushed aluminum, which isn't what I remember seeing for the GSM version. Thought I'd share if you guys hadn't seen these pics yet. The first pic I got off p3droid's twitter. the second pic is from engadget.

Nice comparison. It does look like the LTE version is slightly thicker but not by much. Also the pogo pin placement seems to be in a different spot than on the CDMA version, could this cause compatibility problems with accessories?

And yeah, the battery cover is supposed to be hyperskin, not brushed aluminum... hmmm

So thats the LTE huh .. theres no Verizon logo like the replacement cover has , lol..
and yeah i see the difference. this one is a lot thicker XD.. and the back looks worse with the brushed alunimoon

Yeah wait a second, shouldn't there be a 4G LTE logo on the back? I don't think the first picture is legit...

Could be european vs. There is a guy on droid life that has a pre release model with the same backing.
