When trying too send a screen capture image from my wife's galaxy to my my touch 4g it doesn't download. I get a message saying the resolution or size is too big. Any ideas? Thanks

Could you please be more specific? What do you mean by sending a screen capture? How and for what purpose?

By screen capture I mean taking a picture of you're screen. Like on a computer you can take a pic of your screen so a person could see what you're seeing. On the galaxy you can do this by holding the power and home buttons at the same time. The problem is when she sends me these pictures they won't open on my end because the picture size or resolution is too big.

I should have been more precise. I know what a screen capture is, what is unclear is how you are sending them.

AT&T has a 600k limit on MMS messages. Most of my screenshots from my SGS2 are under 500k so perhaps T-Mobile has a lower limit, or you are including multiple images or long text strings.
