Help Skitch pics won't send via messaging. Unsupported format error

So far I've had just one weird quirk:

When I use Skitch, I can't send any of the pics altered with that program through text messaging. I get a "unsupported format" error, which is weird because I have no issue with any other Android device. I can't imagine why it's happening.

Anyone suffer similiar? I notice that any app I use to alter a pic, I suddenly can't send that pic via text message. Is there a setting I need to change or is this just a phone quirk?

You have to move picture to the dcmi folder and rename it such as
Name you chose .jpg

Once you move reboot or find a gallery/media scanner app and then try to send as text msg

Thanks so much for the suggestion, I'll give it a try. Sounds kinda laborious though. I wonder why the One does this? No other Android phone I've used has this issue.
