Sky Go

It works if you install via the market website. (or appears too, it's taking an age to actually play anything).

Not compatible with my Transformer though, it's a shame cos that's where I actually wanted it.
 
Had this app on my iPad, never bothered with it, same can be said for my phone I reckon. I prefer watching TV on a TV :)

If I had the kind of job that let me get away with it though........ :D

doesnt seem to wanna work, all i keep getting is, sky go has unfortunately stopped, take it must be the root then ?

I just get 'Not compatible with this device' - Installs fine though.
Again I'm assuming it's the ROM I'm running, oh well no loss.
 
Got it. Every channel worked for me via wifi. Didn't even attempt to try it with 3g with my 500mb limit lol.

Can't say I'll use it much though. If my next phone has an hdmi port then I can see it being handy if I'm at a mate's house if the football's on and they don't have sky. Just plug it in to the tv with an hdmi would be pretty sweet.

The reason it took a while to come to Android was because Sky were concerned about the overall security of the Android platform (iirc and total nonsense BTW). I imagine they have some beef with root access because it's less secure or they believe root will allow folk access to the paid channels for free. Netflix did something similar I think.
