For me it worked first time. no tricks needed. running on Viewpad7 with android 2.2
try to uninstall skype and install it again from market. hope it works

I try to install from the market, but the market doesn't recognize my tablet.
Also my tablet is Google Android 2.2
Please help me ...

Have you tried using the market website instead, and having it send the apps directly to your phone?
