Skype problem

I am running JB and downloaded the latest Skype app. It refuses to send video. I can see the other party, I also can see myself in the small screen inset but thy can't see me. When I click the camera icon, it shows that no camera is enabled.
Then, when I do try to enable the front or back camera it refuses to do so.
Anyone has a fix for this?

first try and wipe cache for skype, settings>apps>skype>clear cache.

next try and uninstall and then re-install skype
