Help Skype problem

Dear Friend
I own a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

We skype our daughter in Zamba (Recieve sound & Video) but she gets the sound but cannot see us.
I friend with a modern ipad skyped me without a problem.
Any help with this would be most gratefuly appreciated.

I had the same problem reinstalled Skype and was then ok
But you need to check if your daughter has Video enabled on her device
 
Just a silly question, when making a Skype call are you connecting with the icon that looks like a camera. Also is your camera initialised and not got the rear camera selected or Tab in a case with the camera lens covered.
