Skype update enabled FFC for video chat...

Just to expound on this announcement, I checked out the stock Skype app after seeing this thread:
IT APPEARS THAT THE OFFICIAL SKYPE VIDEO CHAT APP NOW WORKS FOR BIONIC - app was WHITE LISTED / updated adding Bionic, Atrix, Photon, Droid3 & Xoom on Sept 29, 2011.
As Schembfs & update state (for Bionic & Droid3) - "MUST be in LANDSCAPE ONLY mode to work for Front Facing Camera"

Obviously I haven't tried / tested it yet....too early in morning.

If you have tried Tango, would you say Skype is any better? Tango has performed quite well for me. Talk video calls have been lousy, and I haven't yet installed Skype.

I will be interested to see some opinions of people who have tried them both on the Bionic.
The thing about Skype is most people I know use that for video chatting so that's why I lean that way.

I understand that, but for me, I'm most interested in connecting with my family members when they are away, and so I get to choose the best possible video app so that I can see them clearly. We recently tried Talk and it was pitiful. So I tried Tango and found it far superior (frame rate and clarity). If Skype is even better, then I'll use that.
