Help skype/video calls

I've been reading on here that the Acer A500 isn't able to use skype or google talk? is this true? Video chatting is a major part of whether or not i will be purchasing this tablet

I have the a500 and google talk video chat works great for me......Except when I try to video chat with another A500. My mother recently got an A500, and she likes to vid chat with my kids. I can use google talk to call her on her laptop just fine, but we have all kinds of problems getting the two tablets to work correctly.

I'm looking for a tablet that will allow me to video chat with family and friends when travelling. Sounds like Skype won't work. Does anyone know what other tablets will work well with Google Talk other than the A500? I've been looking at the SG 10.1 and ASUS Transformer but I'm not tied to either.

Skype is in the Works....Google Talk works Fine. Tango is another option....

I use Clearsea. For some odd reason google talk doesn't want to cooperate with my tab

Video calling works good now, but audio isn't great. But you can't have everything.

Hello everyone,

I was struggling since the July update to get my video working when Skyping or recently google+ing without success....until I tried TANGO.
and believe it, it is working perfectly.
