Hi,

I tried using ears with built in mics for skyping, but it uses the mic from my acer iconia a500. The internal mic has poor sound for skyping, so I searched for an option to use the external mic, which I can't find?

On windows there is the option to choose which mic is used, but i seems it isn't in the honeycomb version.

Am I the only one with this problem, or does anyone know a solution?

Not sure why headset/mic you are using but I use the iPhone set and a set from blackberry both seem to work OK.

I'm using coloud ears with built in mic. They work fine on my ipod touch, I'll try an other mic when i get one.

Apparently after the dual update the external and internal mic both work great.

There were 2 small systemupdates 2 days ago, so i called it dual update

i got the updates but the mic still isnt that great i can only be heard speaking directly into the tab

The internal mic is indeed not that good, but since the update I dont't need to yell anymore. Just something i noticed, im not sure that its because of the updates.
