Help skypekit draining my battery...

i have installed skype on my nexus s and uninstalled it couple of days ago.

i just checked my batter usage and more than 20% is skypekit.

i don't even know what skypekit is... how do i get rid of it?

Go to applications and uninstall it.

I already uninstalled skype... but i cant find skypekit... the article says it runs in the background... any ideas?

Was this ever resolved? I am now having the same problem. "Skypekit" has used 78% of my battery. I uninstalled Skype the day prior.

Weird.. I have Skype on my Nexus S and I don't even see in on the list for consuming battery

SKYPEKIT appeared to be a huge drain on my battery every day even though I had uninstalled SKYPE a week ago.

I restarted my phone and SKYPEKIT hasn't appeared since, so I think it was just a 'hang-over' service left running.

I am using a HTC Desire HD (to restart the phone - press and hold the power button while the phone is on and unlocked, and select Restart when prompted).
