Root skyraider and custom boot

i cant for the life of me to get this to work. it allways boots up with a black screen. someone please help me.

Did you get ROM Manager from the market and install with that? If not, I'd highly recommend it.

I've not redone an animation alone apart from flashing a whole ROM but here is a link to look at:

i tryed the patch but still no go. i think its a skyraider thing.
