Root skyrocket on t-mobile

Is anybody using this phone on t-mobile? If so... does tmobile flash the phone or are you using a custom rom/kernal/radio combination?

I believe you can just drop in a T-Mobile SIM card and get phone and text service, just not data service. That's because the Skyrocket is a North American variant of the SGS2 and it's radios are hard wired for AT&T frequencies, but I could be wrong on that. You could use it on T-mobile a a phone, but it would essentially be a WiFi only device for everything else.
