Skyrocket stopped turning on

I was out recording the Hurricane ( stupid thing to do ) got some splashes on my phone shut down screen but did not remove battery. Reached home about 10 mins later and saw the flash light was on. Removed battery dried off the phone with some heat ( nothing excessive ) Tried replacing battery and receives no response. Do I need a new phone?

Best advice I can give is take the back off, the battery out and put it all in a bag of rice for a few days. The rice will draw out the moisture and hopefully you phone will work again.

Thanks Atmazzz have it in bag of rice with my fingers crossed, what sad about this is it's both my phones gotten splashed.
