Sleep/Wake question

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any other way to wake up the Eris from sleep. The standard is to press the end button to wake and sleep again.

I'm worried because my ipod touches home button recently stopped working, I assume from over use, and the same thing happen to a friend of mines ipod.

I must press the End button on my eris at least 20 times a day and I worry it may stop working from over use.

Its under warranty I would not worry plus it was designed that way.

If it should come to that, plugging it in to the charger will wake it from it's slumber; at least you can unlock from there using the screen. Then it's time to go get it fixed or replaced, since that trick won't help you if the unit is powered off.

In the meantime, I wouldn't worry about it - 20 times a days over 5 years is what - 36,500 cycles? (Hopefully it will last that long - and most folks replace their cell phone every 2-3 years anyway.).
