When I select the power button to bring the phone out of sleep the phone screen will turn off within a second or two. Is there a way to keep the screen on longer?

If I press power and look away for a second the screen goes black again. Its liek I have to hit power and jump right on it to enter my swipe code.

Its in your settings > Sounds and Display > Screen Timeout

That part I know about and have set to 2 min. The part I mean is if my phone is in sleep mode and I hit the power button the screen lights up and gives me all of 2sec to enter my "pattern to unlock" before it goes black again.

Thats about normal. It does it to me as well. Don't believe there is anyway to set it. I just live with it.

I think it's a power saving feature so the screen isn't on for long periods if the button is bumped while in a pocket or purse. I doubt there's so way to change it.

Thanks. Ill deal Not a big issue just use to my prior phone being on longer. Ill get use to it.
