Sleeve for Droid

Pulled the trigger on this one. Hopefully it's decent.

I have the "Droid Suede Jacket" you just ordered. It is decent, as you say. It fits the Droid well, does a great job at keeping the screen clean (you can also use it as a screen wipe) and best of all, keeps the damn phone from opening a bit in my pocket. It also keeps my Droid from sliding around on my car's cloth seats.

It will provide basic scratch protection, but I wouldn't count on my protection from drops.

I'm eventually going to look into getting a sturdier sleeve for the Droid, but this one is working for now.

Not looking for drop protection. If anything I can always sew a loop for a basic lanyard attachment (I was good in home economics :p). I'm not looking for something bulkier (as they tend to be as more protection is added) or fancier. Just something decent; I just wanted a pouch that could double as a wipe.

Try an Oakley sunglass bag. Fits perfect and you can use it to wipe the screen down. It will protect from scratched but that is about it. I have like three or four laying around the house and you can pick up a cheap (non-Oakley) one for a few bucks.

Just received my "G1" case from:
1
NEW OEM T-Mobile HTC G1 Google Phone Pocket Case Pouch - eBay (item 120514264769 end time Jan-11-10 20:11:17 PST)

It fits the droid very well and still keeps it fairly slim.

Sunglass Hut sunglasses microfiber pouch with drawstring. Keeps it protected, dust out, and doubles as a wiping cloth for the screen. I've got like 5 which I use for my Droid, digital camera, iPod Touch etc. About $6 at any SGH.
