Help slide to unlock screen

[Ratmando73]

Droid X Android 2.2

Does anyone know how to remove the slide to unlock screen when the phone first wakes up? I use the visible pattern lock and first have to slide to unlock then the phone goes to the visible pattern. Kind of a pain.

The old operating system let you remove this but I can't find that on 2.2.

Thanks,

Dana

yeah the 2.2 have the slide and pin/pattern lock combo, which is a pain, so I disable it and run without a lock...

This is my only complaint with this phone. I tried installing WidgetLocker thinking it would replace the slide lock and be a little more useful. With Widgetlocker running I end up having three things to get past. it didn't remove the slide lock or the pattern lock.

I really wish there was a fix for this.
