Slide to unlock screen???

After updating my phone to the new OTA, the slide-to-unlock screen is now enabled. I have had it disabled since day 1, and now can't find a fix. I am considering No Lock in the Market, but having used it in the past on Dinc, I am apprehensive given how it rarely worked as advertised. Is this an option that was deleted???

use No lock by BoD. start it up and click it once and that is that. And yes, the feature to lock or never lock went away when 2.2 came along.

I wonder why they would remove that feature? Playing God, or does it in someway affect performance??

From my understanding, it was an added on feature from Motorola to get rid of the lock screen (not built into Android).... they no longer gave that feature in the new version.

No Lock should work just as well - since it does the same thing. Doesn't disable the lock screen, just bypasses it (you could always see it for a split second!)
