Help Slide unlock

I have my phone set for slide to unlock. It seems that whenever I go to answer a call, I hang up instead of answer. Anyone else having this problem?

Should be: Swipe to the right to answer, Swipe to the left to decline

Or if you touch/hold the circle, all the options will come up
