I really liked the Slidescreen home launcher. The only fault being that it currently does not support Google Talk, and non Gmail mail. According to the developers of the app, they were working on an update, but no one has heard from the developers in a while. (Keep in mind that some people paid for the non-ad version of this app).
So, I decided to root because I felt that there was more opportunity for customization.
What I loved about Slidescreen, besides the beautiful font and layout, was that everything you needed the most was right there - phone, text, calendar, mail, clock/weather, rss reader, facebook, twitter, and stock updates.
Are there any ROMS out there that employ a similar home launcher? A launcher where most of the information is on the home screen. Kinda like a Today screen for Blackberry.
