Slight launcher pro problem

I use the unread sms count on the dock because I have my notification bar hidden, now ever since last night it says 1 unread message, even though my inbox is empty, usually if I press it, it'll go away, but not this time. I've tried restarting my phone, restarting launcher pro, resetting launcher pro to default, changing the shortcut and changing it back, changing the icon, and turning the option on and off. But to no avail, that red number is still there.

Any suggestions?

I used the Gmail icon on my dock and had the same issue. Kept showing 1 when all my mail was already checked. Eventually it just cleared up on its own.

My ocd is just going crazy, haha. I know its only a minor annoyance.

Well, it fixed itself, I pressed messaging and it went to a thread that didn't even exist anymore and the number went away

I've had this happen a couple times. Definitely log into Gmail on your pc and double check that there are in fact no new emails. Sometimes the gmail app doesn't display an email on my phone.
