My friend put my phone down in some water that was spilt on the side. It really wasn't a lot and it just seemed to be on the outside so i wiped the phone down, and thought nothing else of it. After a few hours though the touch screen no longer responds. I have left it in rice for the last 24 hours to see if i can dry it out fully. If it doesn't work is it best to get it repaired by htc? none of the water damaged indicator have changed colours both are still white. Or would insurance pay out on water damaged phones? I have read many stories where insurance come up with all sorts of reasons not to replace your phone.
