Accessories Slim USB cables

Anyone else have an issue fitting typical micro USB cables into the Captivate?

Some of my existing cables either need to be force in somewhat or refuse to stay in entirely. The cable that came with however has a very slim casing around the micro end and connects effortlessly.

Does anyone have a source for such cables?

I see them on the Samsung website but $20 for the standard and $30 for the angled is a bit steep.

I have seen the FAQ but I didn't even think to look there for this issue. I was well aware of why they didn't fit; just hoping someone else had found a source for the smaller ones.

I've seen the small ones sold as "OEM" on eBay... but they tend to be short. They also cost a lot more than the ones listed, which can be made to fit with just a few seconds and a razor blade.

Yeah, I got the premium 6 foot monoprice cables.
About 15 seconds of shaving with my paring knife an I was good to go.

The one originally included with the phone seemed to be having some difficulties when plugging in to the phone ... however the other one (also Samsung part) fits my phone very well. Part # APCBU10BBE. I have a source to get these for $10.
