Root sling player app question

my phone is rooted and i just ordered a slingbox solo. i'm reading some comments now that say you can't use the app if you're rooted? can anyone confirm that? surely thats not true.

App works on my rooted INC. Worked on 2.1, 2.1 rooted, 2.2 FrankenROM, 2.2 Stock, 2.2 OTA Rooted... Never had any issues.

nice thats good to hear, i'm running frank right now and should get my slingbox in a couple days.
