Slingbox Problem

ok i have a question .. i want to save money and get a av or classic but need to make sure it will work .. i presently have a connection in living room to tv .. will they work fine and the difference with getting a pro.. is it with av and classic i can't use a dvd player or anything as well?
 
I have a classic (silver one), and it works just fine. The first time you run it, it says something like "your model is not supported, but may work anyway." I don't have another one to compare it to, but all the features and buttons seem to work.
 
well i bidded and won a classic for 55.00 with all cables .. think that's pretty good price.. 10.00 shipping.. lol surprise hunny ... (hubby will buy stuff and it appears much later saying " i've had that forever!" )LMAO

I use that excuse and it works sometimes. Especially since my wife doesn't pay that much attention.

$55, that's a good price. I am going to have to replace my power supply and its going to run me at least $20.
 
LOVE this app! Watching the epic wimbledon match live on my EVO at work and the quality of video over 3g is very good. Much better than Sprint TV actually. Thank goodness Sprint has unlimited data!
 
You could change the thread title...if you wanted...seeing how you actually do NOT have a slingbox problem.

Just a thought.

Gee excuse me.. seems like this was a lively thread and wanted a little help so yeah still had a problem .. but yeah i am gone.. just saying
 
How do you like the slingbox picture reception on 3g compared to sprint tv? Example using the ESPN channel. Thanks.. I want to buy one the Solo...:D

You guys are hilarious. I entered the thread because I ordered a slingbox and the OP said that he a problem. After his initial thread, he posted that he didn't have a problem. He could have deleted the thread immediately. It's nice that you want to share thoughts about the sling box app, but the thread title is a bit misleading. Your overreaction to my suggestion of changing the thread title was quite humorous.

For me Slingbox over 3g has a much better picture than Sprint tv. Just depends on your upload speed from the slingbox too.
 
A) I have the Classic and it works... kind of.

B) Sometimes the thing works flawlessly... I watched an hour of Saved By the Bell this morning. Went to lunch, came back, and tried to watch XMen, big problems. Screen freeze, might comeback, if not, it says connection failed. :(
